Connect the dots. Balqon finally in position for a huge run in 2011. Looks like the most support this company has had since inception.

Just got $5M from the Donald Trump of China. Read about the new Chairman of the Board. This guy is no joke. His company in China trades on HK exchange and has over $4B just in assets.

Balqon's margins just went way up with this deal.

so to recap, had you bought when I was posting you'd be up 200% already and this thing is just getting started. I hope this thing runs to $15.00. The new Chairman of the board is BIGG TIME. He's the Donald Trump of CHina. The guy donated $20M to UC Riverside last year to their clean tech program. Good guy but serious businessman. Finally BLQN has big time funding and tons of contacts across China. Now we own US and CHINA. F Tesla, Volt, Coda Auto, ZAAP and the rest of the electric cars. Why not own the only 100% electric truck / trackor / bus company that I know of. First to market usually does well.

seems like a convoluted web of confusion when reading the press release...

the way i'm reading it.....this chung dude (i guess this is your "donald trump of china" guy)

both seven one limited and winston battery are chinese companies owned by the chung dude

as i'm reading it basically he has this battery technology that he wants to sell/distribute in the US that is made by winston battery...and his seven one limited chungs financial arm or something is giving balquon both money and approval to distribute (attempt to) their battery in the us market.....what that means for balqon as far as viability of their electric trucks and such....probably nothing

smell a pump a dump.....GL

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HARBOR CITY, CA--(Marketwire - 12/20/10) - Balqon Corporation (OTC.BB:BLQN - News), a developer and manufacturer of zero-emissions heavy-duty electric vehicles and drive systems, completed a $5.0 million private placement of its common stock and warrants to purchase common stock on December 14, 2010. The investor in the private placement was Seven One Limited. Balqon filed a Current Report on Form 8-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission on December 17, 2010 that provides further details of the transactions described above and below.

On December 14, 2010, Balqon also entered in to a Distribution Agreement with Seven One Limited under which Balqon was appointed the exclusive distributor in the United States for lithium iron phosphate batteries and high voltage charging systems manufactured by Winston Battery Limited.

Seven One Limited holds worldwide distribution rights with respect to the high-capacity lithium iron phosphate batteries and high voltage charging systems manufactured by Winston Battery Limited. Both Seven One Limited and Winston Battery Limited are Shenzhen, China-based companies that are headed by leading battery technology scientist, inventor and entrepreneur, Mr. Winston Chung.

"We have used batteries manufactured by Winston Battery along with our proprietary battery management systems since 2009, and have been highly impressed by their performance," said Balwinder Samra, president and CEO of Balqon. "We believe this new distributor relationship and Seven One Limited's substantial investment in our company will enhance our product offerings and allow us to jointly explore a number of growing market opportunities within the stationary backup power and energy storage markets."

In November, Balqon and Winston Battery Limited jointly showcased their drive systems and battery technologies at the EVS 25 (The World Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exposition) organized by the World Electric Vehicle Association in China. The EVS 25 is recognized as the premier event for academic, government and industry professionals involved in electric drive technologies.

At the EVS 25, Balqon and Winston Battery Limited demonstrated the world's first all-electric recreational vehicle (RV) with a range of 200 km. on a single charge. The 45-foot RV was manufactured by MVP RV, Inc. of Riverside, California. Using Winston Battery Limited's advanced charging technology in Balqon's battery management system, the RV can be fully charged within 20 minutes as compared to 8 hours using traditional methods.

"Working together with the Balqon team to develop the world's first all-electric powered RV in record time revealed other opportunities we can jointly address across our respective continents using our complimentary expertise and experience," said Mr. Chung. "We believe our synergistic portfolios of battery and vehicle drive control technologies will enable us to enter new developing electric vehicle markets, and provide Balqon a path to diversify from its market niche of heavy-duty electric vehicles."

The issuance of securities in the private placement described above was not registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act"). Therefore, the securities may not be reoffered or resold by the investor absent registration or an applicable exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act. This press release does not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any securities.

ti - here is the deal with thsi stock. I love the deal mainly because I have stock in it. haha. I was there when they got their first order at the Port of LA for $6M. I invested $150K at $1.00 per share along with many others I know. It seemed like a week later the economy collapsed in 2008. The $100M order we were suposed to get from the Port of LA went away. They said sorry but the funding was dried up and they wanted to continue when they had the money.

Now, BLQN was stuck. They had put all their eggs in that one basket. All the proformas were based on the $100M order. The company kind of ran on fumes in 2010 although the last Q you see the $5M and the order from Ford Motor Co.

The float is tight. Most got in at $1.00 and most are stoked what is going on. I think at the end of the year this thing is way up but there will probably be some shorts that come in and knock it around but if they execute watch out. I'd wait for a healthy order or something else good to happen. Based on the volume I think something big is coming. I talked to a few guys that are very close with the company it sounds, feels like something is coming.

with that said, this company is run by engineers who have never run a public company. Very smart guys. I've met them in person a few times. They don't hire IR guys. No promotion bullsheeeet. Its the opposite of most OTCBB co's so if they get a big order I believe it would be a great time to buy because the street doesn't know BLQN. NObody knows BLQN yet but I think that changes soon.

I should disclose that my former company helped BLQN early on in 2008 and in 2009 a big company bought us up and BLQN is now their client. I'm not an insider but i'm certainly not an outsider.

I also like to disclose anything can happen. Could go BK although it seems like there would be a ton of support at $0.65 if this thing went down but the upside is very high. I heard the wholesale price we get the batteries for will now bring our cost down far enough to improve margins and be more competitive with diesel (Price wise). They also have a new thing where they are making our trucks cheaper than the diesels but the companies lease our batteries. The cost on the batteries is about 25% less than the cost of fuel for the year. These numbers are not exact but you get the idea.

This was the link to the show with Anderson Cooper, Balqon, Antonio Villaragosa. Was a good show.

This one is up again today. I'm thinking about jumping on this one. Does it pull back, or should I go ahead and buy now?
